I took some pictures of my friend’s grandson, Nico, at the Ivy Creek Natural Resource Area here in Charlottesville a few weeks ago. It is such a beautiful place and the colors of fall were really “popping”. Nico had some … Continue reading →
I am way behind on my posting :-(( I took these pictures of Jazzy in early August. It was different photographing someone older, not like young children where you have to snap fast:-)). Here are my favorites, you can see some others under the “Babies and Children” category though Jazzy is a teenager :-)) As always, enjoy……..
I had the chance to take photos of Tiffany’s babysitter’s children, Raul; Francesco; and their new brother, Nicolas. It was great and the boy’s were alot of fun and you could tell they adore their new little brother. Here are a few of my favorites, but check out the rest under the Babies and Children gallery.
My daughter’s 3 1/2 yr old pictures plus one of Tiff and her brother, Nick. I really think I’m liking black and white photography more b/c the pictures seem crisper and overall look great. I don’t think I could ever give up on color though, especially with landscapes!!
Here are some pictures of my friend’s, Amber and Jeremy. It was a beautiful afternoon to take photos and these two are so sweet, which I really hope shows through in the photos. I cannot wait to meet their little girl, Maizey!! Here are some of my favorites, but you can see the rest under the Maternity section. As always, enjoy…..
I had the pleasure of taking 6 month photos for my friend Julie’s beautiful baby boy, Aidan. He was so expressive and just plain adorable. I have to say I was a little nervous taking them inside due to the yucky weather outside. However, I was pleased with how they turned out. I’ve posted a few of my favorites here, but look under Babies and Children Page for the rest of them. Thank you Julie and Jamey for letting me take photos of precious Aidan!!
I had the chance to take some pictures at my daughters preschool in November 2012. The preschool is run by a wonderful lady named Maria and the children just adore her.
It was a lot of fun, but challenging to take these pictures. Children are funny especially at this age because it can be difficult to get shots of them always smiling and looking straight at the camera. I tried to be creative and was overall pleased with the results. I’ve included a few in this post, but to see the rest go to the Babies and Children section on my home page. Enjoy….
After 3 months, I’m finally posting pictures of a wedding where I was a second shooter. It was a beautiful day and a lovely wedding between Katie and Eric. I love shooting outside as I’ve noted before and this was an outside wedding at Katie’s home in a field w/the reception in an open barn. Every detail about this day was perfect and Katie and Eric seem so perfect together. I’m posting a few shots here, but check out the rest at my wedding category at the top of my blog. Enjoy….
Another one of my October shoots, was taking family pictures for the Burgess family. Again, outdoors (yea!!) and the leaves were so pretty still even though they had peaked. I was pleased with all the pictures, but thought the individual; sibling; couple pictures really stood out. Check out all the pictures under my family page (Burgess Family). Here’s a little preview of the pictures…….
My friend Kevin has his own landscaping business called Touch of Earth Landscaping. Check out his FB page or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. I had a chance to take some pictures of Kevin’s beautiful work for my blog and his FB page. I love taking photos outdoors because the light is so much better and that October day it was nice and sunny. Enjoy & get in contact with Kevin for any landscaping needs.
