My daughter’s 3 1/2 yr old pictures plus one of Tiff and her brother, Nick. I really think I’m liking black and white photography more b/c the pictures seem crisper and overall look great. I don’t think I could ever give up on color though, especially with landscapes!!

I had the pleasure of taking 6 month photos for my friend Julie’s beautiful baby boy, Aidan. He was so expressive and just plain adorable. I have to say I was a little nervous taking them inside due to the yucky weather outside. However, I was pleased with how they turned out. I had the chance to take some pictures at my daughters preschool in November 2012. The preschool is run by a wonderful lady named Maria and the children just adore her.
It was a lot of fun, but challenging to take these pictures. Children are funny especially at this age because it can be difficult to get shots of them always smiling and looking straight at the camera. After 3 months, I’m finally posting pictures of a wedding where I was a second shooter. It was a beautiful day and a lovely wedding between Katie and Eric. I love shooting outside as I’ve noted before and this was an outside wedding at Katie’s home in a field w/the reception in an open barn. Every detail about this day was perfect and Katie and Eric seem so perfect together. I’m posting a few shots here, but check out the rest at my wedding category at the top of my blog. Enjoy….
Another one of my October shoots, was taking family pictures for the Burgess family. Again, outdoors (yea!!) and the leaves were so pretty still even though they had peaked. So, I’ve been really lax on my blog lately. I’ve been shooting some, just never enough time to edit. Hoping to post pictures soon as I just went on a photo walk w/a Clickin Mom’s group this past weekend. Now, I’m super excited about being a second shooter on a wedding this weekend of a friend. I’m hoping it will help me learn from the main photographer while also not having the pressure 
So, in light of shooting a wedding, I thought I’d post some pictures I took last year when my friend Tracy got married.
So, after months of working on this blog I believe I have it “finished” to where I want it. I added the remaining favorite pictures to my architecture; landscapes and street photography sections. I’ve also put some photography websites I’m starting to follow on my blog. One I really want to do is the 365-day photography project. I’m hoping this will help sharpen and develop my skills in addition to other things (i.e. classes; online info, etc).
Lighthouses are one of my most favorite things to photograph; visit; read about. The first lighthouse I ever went up in was Cape Hatteras in NC and years later I got married on the beach with Cape Hatteras in the background.
